Welcome to my website!

I’m Shuai Zhang, a Ph.D. candidate in Information Systems at Leeds School of Business, University of Colorado Boulder. My research focuses on open-source software and crowd-based innovation.

Open innovation transcends traditional organizational boundaries and revitalizes the innovation process. My research explores how open innovation communities can better leverage modern technologies to boost innovation outcomes and ensure long-term sustainability.

Beyond Academics

I have loved basketball since I started playing at the age of seven. Throughout my academic journey, I actively participated in school basketball tournaments and achieved notable results.

In addition to sports, I enjoy playing the guitar, especially performing some of my favorite Chinese folk songs in my leisure time.
